What to Bring to
Your First Appointment
You need to bring the right information to your appointment to help us assess your condition and plan your care.
A Valid Referral
If you're claiming through Medicare, DVA, TAC, or WorkCover, you will need a valid referral for your appointment.
Appropriate Footwear
We recommend wearing or bringing the shoes you use most often, especially if they're related to your foot or lower limb concern.
Previous Scans and Reports
If you have had X-rays, scans, or other tests, please bring your results and reports so we can review them during your visit.
What to Expect at Your First Appointment
Your first appointment helps us understand your condition and identify the cause of your symptoms. We will discuss your concerns, assess your feet and lower limbs, and explain the next steps.
Medical History
We will ask about your medical history, symptoms, daily activities, and any medications you take. This information helps us understand your condition and how it affects your daily life.
Physical Assessment
Your examination may include:
Skin and nail assessment
Vascular and neurological assessment
Gait and foot structure assessment
Muscle strength and joint range of motion assessment
We only carry out assessments related to your symptoms.
Diagnosis and Treatment
We may recommend medical imaging or other tests if needed. We will explain your diagnosis, answer your questions, and discuss the most suitable treatment options.
